The sky over downtown Jacksonville will light up with fireworks on New Year’s Eve despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
The City of Jacksonville is planning to launch the fireworks from a barge on the St. Johns River just east of the Main Street bridge and from the top of the Acosta Bridge. The show starts at midnight.
The City says you can watch from several areas on either side of the river. There’s a map of the best spots to watch here.
The City of St. Augustine Beach has canceled the annual Beach Blast Off fireworks display this year because of the pandemic.
