JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man in a wheelchair was found dead in the 8300 block of Barracuda Road on Tuesday, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO responded to multiple gunshots in the area around 3:40 p.m. They found the unidentified man dead in the driveway of a home. A search warrant was requested to search the home for more details.
Paramedics who were already in the area were interrupted by the shooting, police say. They were called out for a woman having a heart attack.
Two people were taken in for questioning. It is unknown if they were involved at this time.
Kinkaid Road and Barracuda Road have been closed off as police investigate in the area.
