Make sure you reset your radio now to our new frequency: 104.5 FM!
You told us loud and clear that WOKV needed more power, so we have moved Jacksonville's best radio station to one of the most powerful signals in northeast Florida, 104.5 FM.
AM 690 is not effected by the move and will continue to carrry all WOKV programs.
"The most noticeable improvement will be heard by listeners in Baker, Clay, St. Johns, and Nassau counties. They now have full coverage from WOKV, 24/7, on 104.5 FM." Dorwart continued.
"Duval residents will also hear a big difference, especially those who listen at work, as the more powerful signal easy penetrates office buildings".
The new signal also provides reliable coverage to listeners in Flagler, Putnam, Bradford, Union and Columbia counties in Florida; as well as Camden and Charlton counties in Georgia.
The WOKV weekday lineup starts wiht Jacksonville's leading news and information program, "Jacksonville's Morning News", hosted by Rich Jones, airing weekdays from 5am to 9am, followed by our conservative "super stars of talk" lineup of Herman Cain (9am to 12pm), Rush Limbaugh (12pm to 3pm), Sean Hannity (3pm to 6pm) and Andy Dean (6pm to 9pm).
