The pet-tech company Tractive has launched their new GPS & Health tracker for dogs.
A feature of the new tracker is the debut of Bark Monitoring which can provide information on why a dog barks when their owner is away. The device can monitor barking patterns which will let the owner know if their dog has separation anxiety or other behavioral issues.
The software will also have an update in March that will introduce Resting Heart and Respiratory Rate Alerts that can help owners catch health conditions early.
While the device can’t diagnose a condition it will compare a dog’s vitals to thousands of other dogs of the same breed and age range.
The tracker sells for $69.99 and requires a monthly plan of $5.
