It is somewhat of a bittersweet announce for US fans of the band - none of the dates unveiled are anywhere near North America. That being said, we should expect a heavy slate of G’n’R shows to hit closer to home as we get to the back half of 2025!
So far we know who the scheduled opening acts on the tour are. Rival Sons, Public Enemy, and the Sex Pistols with Frank Carter will be the appetizer for crowds who have been hungering for Axl & Co. for a few years now.
I think for me, I know I had to rest — I had to rest my body. A lot of hours on stage. A lot of traveling. And I’ve gotta listen to my body these days. I’ve gotta listen. So I had to rest. I think we all need to rest. Slash, he’ll go out and tour, like, four weeks later [with one of his projects] and do it all over again. I’m, like, ‘Okay, dude. More power to you. I’m gonna go to Hawaii. I’m going to Hawaii, man.
— Duff McKagen
It was just a few weeks ago Axl was rumored to be pairing up with AC/DC for tour dates, but not many knew in what capacity that would be happening. The rumor first appeared courtesy of a Sebastian Bach interview, but we haven’t heard anything about it since.
Axl has caught recent heat for his voice not being what it used to be, but if the last tour was any indication, Rose, and crew will be just fine on this run!
