JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The St. Johns County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a death in St. Augustine Shores.
The St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office told WOKV that someone called the fire department at 6:52 a.m. saying they smelled plastic burning and saw smoke. When firefighters arrived at 7:01 a.m., they found a unit full of smoke and one person dead inside.
The State Fire Marshal are determining where the smoke came from and the cause of death.
