Jacksonville, FL — Multiple vehicles and a car compactor in Northwest Jacksonville caught fire today, sending flames and thick plumes of smoke shooting in to the air.
Portions of New Kings Road near Garden Street had to be shut down during the peak of firefighting activity, but the Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department says the scene is now under control.
One person is being treated for burns.
