Jacksonville, Fl. — A man is fighting for his life after he was found badly burned in the San Marco area after a car fire.
Jacksonville Police is working with the State Fire Marshal to piece together what caused the fire in a parking lot on Atlantic Boulevard and Arcadia Place.
Police believe the man is in his early 40’s and was the only person in the car at the time, but he was found outside of the car. He was transported to UF Health in Gainesville for his severe burns.
JSO says there is no criminal act being investigated at this time.
Police have not released the name of the victim.
