The Clay County Sheriff’s Office says a body has been found in the St. Johns River.
The active investigation is in Fleming Island, near River Avenue. CCSO says this is near where 65-year-old Keith Pereau went missing Sunday, July 15th, but they have not yet confirmed the identity of the body that was located.
CCSO says the Jacksonville Medical Examiner’s Office will be determining the identity of this person and the cause of death.
