Clay County authorities find body during missing swimmer search
Sean Leverette, whose family says his body was pulled from a lake in Keystone Heights Tuesday afternoon, was a Navy veteran.

A body has been found during the search for a man last seen with friends at Spring Lake in Clay County.

The Clay County Sheriff’s Office is not yet confirming whether the remains are Sean Leverette. They say their investigation is still very active, including continuing to deploy the dive team and using other special operations personnel.

Family of Leverette tells our partner Action News Jax that the remains are him.

Leverette went missing Friday, and CCSO has been attempting to contact and locate him ever since. He had been spending time with friends around the lake, but his friends left during the day while he was still there swimming. He had not been seen since.
