This is a complete run down of all the events planned for this week's game.
Still unsigned are first round pick Derrick Harvey, second rounder Quentin Groves and another fifth rounder rounder Trae Williams.
As the Jaguars continued their off-season workouts yesterday, they had a visitor in camp. Standing on the sidelines yesterday was Gators coach Urban Meyer. Jack Del Rio asked Meyer to address the Jaguars team. So what can a college coach tell a pro team?
"The whole thing with our team is don't take anything for granted now," Meyer said. "National Championships can be snatched from you in a New York minute. If you want to play in the NFL, that's not easy. Don't take anything for granted."
After focusing on offense in free agency, the Jaguars turned their attention to the defensive side of the ball in the draft. In each of their first four picks, the Jaguars took defensive players, including first round pick Derrick Harvey and second round selection Quentin Groves.
Jack Del Rio said that the draft offered more opportunities on defense, and as it turned out, it complimented what the Jaguars did in free agency on offense.
The Jaguars made a bold move, trading up to the 8th pick of the draft to take Florida defensive end Derrick Harvey, then in the second, they traded up again to take Auburn defensive end/outside linebacker Quentin Groves.
