Florida lawmakers are ready to move the goalposts on you when it comes to stormproofing your home, and WOKV's Home Inspection Expert has a hunch why.

Host of the Home and Garden Show Wally Conway says there's the state legislature is ready to change the rules about discounts for homeowners who stormproof their homes because too many people are doing it.  "Because it has been very popular, it has cost the insurance companies, I believe, far more money than they anticipated," said Conway.

Proponents of the bill say it will cut down on the fake claims of stormproofing, but the potential savings for legitimately hardened homes may also be reduced.
