Northern Blizzard Cancels Dozens of JIA Flights
The blizzard along the Eastern seaboard is causing weather worries for people up north and along the First Coast.

Susan Muller is at Jacksonville International Airport today, just trying to keep track of her family members in Maryland and Pennsylvania who were supposed to fly-in for a get-together. But, with 60 inches of snow and hurricane force winds in some northern regions, it doesn't look like they'll be going anywhere, anytime soon.
"It's pretty bad, my mom is concerned about ambulances not being able to get through if people get sick. So, it's bad and they're running out of places to put snow," says Muller.
And you'll see fewer people at the airport, because the snow storm has cancelled dozens of flights to and from JIA over the last few days. To check on the status of your flight, the easiest way is to call your airline or check online.
