Jacksonville taxpayers will be tuned in to hear what the President has to say about the state of our nation.

President Obama is scheduled to talk primarily about strengthening the job market and that's exactly what Nancy Nelson wants to hear.

"Well, it's effected me deeply, because I have not had a job for quite some time now," says Nelson. "And every time you go to see about a job, there's maybe only one position and there's at least a couple hundred people applying for it. And that's the hardest thing."

Although health care has been the political hot button for several months, Tommy Delgianis also thinks job creation is an even more pressing issue.

"Because the way things are going down here, yeah, we need to get folks back to work," says Delgianis. "When you have almost +10% out of work, that should be lightbulbs going off, bells ringing or whatever have you."

When asked, many Jacksonville residents say they also want to hear the president discuss the economy, plans for our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, national security and how we plan to fight terrorism and avoid another potential attack.
