A 15 year-old boy is the only one of four teenage friends to survive a car crash that sent them careening off the road and into a canal.

Coral Springs police say 16 year-old Sean Maxey was driving a red Volkswagen just after midnight Sunday morning, with three other teens inside, when he was T-boned by a car driven by a 59 year-old man from Miami.

Maxey's car went out of control and into a canal.

15 year-old Evan Sinisgalli was able to get out.  But three of his friends, all 16 years of age, drowned in the car.

No word if any charges will be filed.
