Officers were called to the Hill Top Village Apartments, off West 45th Street and Moncrief on the Northwest side Saturday afternoon, in response to an alarm going off.

However, when they got to the complex, they heard several gun shots and saw several people running away.

That's when officers found a man shot to death in a stairwell.  So far the victim hasn't been identified and no suspects have been named.
