Harry Shorstein's Final Day
For the first time since 1991, Jacksonville will wake up Tuesday with a new state attorney.
For 17 years Harry Shorstein has been the top prosecutor in Northeast Florida.

Shorstein spoke with WOKV's Jared Halpern about several issues on his final day.
"It's a little difficult to leave public life. I've really worked in public service since graduating law school in 1965".
Shorstein says he hopes that one of his legacies is a reshaping of juvenile justice.
"It's simply trying to address crime at the earliest opportunity, combining prevention with punishment when punishment is appropriate".
At 11:59pm tonight his term ends and the Angela Corey era begins.
"If the people lose confidence in the criminal justice system then all of the problems that we have will get more serious".
And he has a few regrets.
"Perhaps the Grand Jury could have taken a better look at some of the governmental issues that have caused the people to lose so much confidence in government".
Shorstein is going back to the private sector, teaming up with his son's private practice.
