A soldier from Florida has been killing in fighting in Iraq.

The Department of Defense has identified a Florida solider who was killed in Iraq.

29-year old Staff Sargeant Anthony Davis died on Tuesday after he was shot in northern Iraq.

Davis was from Daytona Beach.
