The hospitals in town are going smoke free.

They'll now force people to go off hospital property to light up.

The ban goes takes effect today and for some people they'll have to walk several blocks before they can light up.

Security guards will be on the lookout for people who violate the new policy.

Hospital administrators say the goal is to educate people, not reprimand them.
