New Info: Beach Deaths Not Suspicious
Detectives in St. Johns County say the deaths of two men at the beaches are not related and are not suspicious.
The body of 52 year-old William Hare was found Wednesday along Vilano Beach and today the medical examiner said Hare drowned.
The man's friends and family tells police that Hare enjoyed swimming in the ocean without clothes. His vehicle was located Thursday night at the Villgaes of Vilano with his clothes inside.
The second person has been identified as 62 year-old Pandel Stotchess of Duval County. His body was found in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Police say Stotchess committed suicide. His vehicle was located at the north parking lot of the Guana State Park Thursday afternoon.
Inside detectives located clothing and a box of ammunition.
No foul play is suspected in either case.
