The WOKV Money Wach is changing the way many of you are putting food on the table.

While many small and medium size businesses are struggling and investors are losing years of savings, first coast farmers are actually seeing a lot of green.

Mary Anne Evans has been selling fresh greens at the farmer's market near Beaver and Stockton for 25 years and says more and more of her customers are giving up traditional grocery stores.

In fact a few shoppers WOKV's Jared Halpern spoke with this weekend say they save 40 or 50 bucks a week, just on fresh fruits and vegetables.

  • Farmers Market
I was just there the other day and saved alot the trick to the farmers market it to walk all the way arround to find the best price on the stuff you want. The more you shop there the more they get to know you and you might be able to negotiate a better price as a repeate customer.
