President of the Northeast Florida Builders Association Mark Downing says builders were among the first to be affected.  "We've seen a lack of sales, plus working with the banks to borrow money has become much more difficult," says Downing.

Engle Homes and Woodside Homes both had to file for bankruptcy, but Downing says he thinks they'll come through it just fine.
