Body of Fallen Soldier Returned to Jacksonville
Slideshow: Pfc. Setzler Returned to Jacksonville
A first class honor at NAS Jax on Friday as the body of a 23-year-old soldier is brought home to Jacksonville.

23-year-old Army Private Tavarus Setzler was the youngest of seven kids. His family was looking forward to his wedding during the Thanksgiving holiday.
But on Friday, they mourned as he was brought home from Iraq in a flag-drapped coffin.
Hundreds of servicemen and women, veterans, family of other fallen soldiers, the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office and the Fire Department were all present at the tribute.
So were the Junior ROTC cadets of Robert E. Lee High School - where Setzler graduated in 2005. Petty Officer First Class Kristen Smith is currently in the program, and says she would be willing to make the same sacrifice.
"I think that everyone deserves a chance. And if we have to go to war to give every child a chance, then I'm more than happy to be the one that does it. It's an honor," said the high school student. Smith said she's inspired by Setzler's sacrifice and knowing that she can be there for people who need her.
Lieutenant Cadet Commander Douglas Andsen is also apart of the Junior ROTC program at Lee High School. He was proud to be among the 35 cadets who were chosen out of 160 to be present at the ceremony. Despite the tragedy, Andsen says he won't shy away from joining the military.
"I haven't joined my point of view. I'm more than happy to join the service," says Andsen. "I hope that the sacrifice doesn't have to be made, but if it comes to it, I'll be there."
After graduating from Lee High School, Setzler joined the military in November 2007. He was deployed to Iraq in June. His honors include the Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal and Army Service Ribbon.
Setzler's funeral is scheduled for Saturday at Greater Hope First Born Buch on Davis Street at 12pm.
