Jacksonville International Airport could increase the cost of parking.

The JIA's Michael Stewart said board is looking for ways in increase their revenue.

"Potential increase in parking rates was one of the issues we put on the table,"

He said the prices on their lots range from 6-18 dollars, but didn't say how much or at which lots they would increase the parking rates.

He says it is a tight time in the aviation industry and they are looking for ways to increase their revenue.

"We are taking at look at several aspects that will impact the bottom line," Stewart said.

The board will make a decision in the next month.
