Orange Park Gas Leak Contained

A portion of Wells Road near U-S 17 was closed off this morning because of a natual gas leak.

No one was hurt or had to be evacuated in the commercial area near the railroad tracks.

Officials say a construction crew hit the gas line around 9:40am, sending natural gas spewing into the air. The situation was contained by 1:30pm.
