Fifth Roung Pick Trae Williams Signs
And then there were two. Only Derrick Harvey and Quentin Groves remain unsigned among Jaguars draft picks after fifth round pick Trae Williams was inked. The Times Union says its a four year deal. Harvey and Groves must be signed by the time trainig camp opens a week from tomorrow in order to participate in drills.
Williams, a cornerback from the University of South Florida, didn't make much of a splash in the off-season practices. The Jaguars coaches hope that hope that he can provide depth in the defensive backfield, but he'll have to battle for a roster spot with the likes of fellow reserves Scott Starks, Rashod Moulton and Chad Nkang.
