Leppert told reporters "I ain't got nothing to say" as deputies transported her from the courthouse.

Leppert and her boyfriend Toby Lowry are accused in the murder of James Stewart, 66.

Stewart was found beaten, stabbed and suffocated in his Melrose home.

Leppert will be tried as an adult in the case but the state cannot seek the death penalty because of her age.

Leppert and Lowry fled the state after they allegedly murdered the disabled man and was picked up panhandling in El Paso, Texas. 

Authorities say the two murdered Stewart for his vehicle.
