Jacksonville students produce a video to help teach local children how to avoid dangerous strangers.

The video called "Stranger Danger" was produced and performed by local art school students at Douglas Anderson School of Arts and LaVille School of Arts.

"It has to do with giving kids some of the skills they need to stay away from strangers and be out of danger as much as they can possible be," said Dale Bell with Safe and Healthy Schools.

She said the Boys and Girls Club helped pay to distribute the video to every elementary school in the county.

The Jacksonville Sheriff's Office supervised the writing and filming of the movie, and one officer is even featured in the film.

She says the techniques shown in the video help kids avoid trouble or get away from adults who might mean to harm them.
