Mother: My Murdered Daughter Should Be Alive The mother of a murdered teen girl wants an investigation. She says her daughter would be alive if the Medical Examiner had done a better job. The mother of a murdered teen says her daughter would be alive if the St. Johns County Medical Examiner had done their job. Karen Durling is the mother of 16-year old Angela Durling who was killed by Ralph Faba in 2000. "I feel that the Medical Examiner dropped the ball and he didn't do his job correctly," Durling said. She says that the medical examiner should have known that Faba killed his father in 1999, but the medical examiner ruled it was suicide. She says she wants an investigation into the case. We were unable to reach the Medical Examiner's office, but the sheriff's office says all signs at the time pointed to suicide. Faba is currently serving 40 years for killing Durling, and recently confessed to murdering both his father and his girl friend. Add your commentThere are no comments yet.
