Midday Musings At THE PLAYERS Just got back into the media center from the course. The wind is really picking up. As former British Open Champion Todd Hamilton told me, the course is almost unfair when the wind blows like it is now. Hamilton began the day at 3 under par after posting the best round among the afternoon golfers yesterday. Hamilton got it to four under at one point. But then the winds picked up. Bogeys on 5, 6 and a double bogey on 9 led to another bogey on 10. By then he was 2 over par for the tournament and 5 over on the day. That's where he wound up. Anyone who birdies 17 the rest of the day deserves a medal. There have been only 6 so far, and most of those were early in the morning. Add your commentThere are no comments yet.
