Two people are reportedly stuck inside a car for hours, after driving off the road and into a retention pond.

The Florida Highway Patrol reportedly says Ryan Ward-Jennings, 22, lost control and drove off Deerpark Boulevard near state road 207, Saturday.

The car flipped over, and was partially submerged in the pond for 6 to 8 hours.

Ward-Jennings and passenger John Crowley, 23, were seriously injured, and are now in the hospital.

So far it's not known what caused the driver to lose control.
