Mandarin Jet Ski Crash Kills Teen
A teen is dead and another critically injured after a Jet Ski crash in a creek in Mandarin.
The 19-year-old man and and 18-year-old woman were thrown from the Jet Ski after colliding with a boat Saturday afternoon on Durbin Creek.
Another boater pulled them from the water and took them to the Julington Creek boat ramp, about two miles from the site of the crash.
The man died at the ramp, and the woman is in critical condition at Shands Jacksonville.
So far no charges have been filed, but officers reportedly say it's a possibility they will be.
Florida Fish and Wildlife say they're investigating to see if alcohol or speed played a part in the crash.
