Late Afternoon Thoughts From Sawgrass
It looks more and more like Sergio Garcia's 6-under 66 is going to hold up. I've seen some good shots, but the drying greens and rising temperatures are giving the Stadium Course some real teeth.
The only golfers to mount a serious charge in the afternoon are Stewart Cink and J.B. Holmes, who are both still out on the course.

-As for tomorrow, you might check out the afternoon's big pairing of Phil Mickelson, Rory Sabatini and Henrick Stenson, who will tee off from the 1st tee at 1:33.
-Ernie Els has put together some good swings. He's been fighting injuries the past three years, but looks like he has his stroke back.
-The 17th hole is starting to gobble up errant tee shots. Last year, 93 balls wound up in the water over the course of the tournament. So far, 10 splashdowns in the afternoon session, two by Matt Kuchar.
-The wind appears to be blowing harder than the golfer think at #17. That's caused some trouble.
