It's time to sign up for summer camp if you're interested in one funded by the Jacksonville Children's Commission.

There are 76 camp sites throughout the city.

Lisa Buggs says there are certain requirements to go to these camps.  "For children who come from families that are low income if they participate in the free and reduced lunch program or if they're a recipient of the McKay scholarship," says Lisa Buggs, Director of Community Outreach.

Buggs says they received a grant to pay for more than 3,500 seats.

However, there is a parent fee of $10 per child/per week.

You can sign-up at the camp site your child will attend.

Go to jaxkids.net for a list of camp sites.
