A suspected drunk driver leads police on a multi-state high speed chase.

A suspected drunk driver took authorities in Jacksonville and Nassau County on a chase that finally ended in South Georgia.

Dispatchers tell us the driver first ignored police at a traffic stop off of I-10 and Chaffee.

They followed the driver to I-95 North where, the roadway was closed near the state line.

Once the driver approached and avoided stop sticks, law enforcement then conducted a pit maneuver that caused the vehicle to spin out of control.

They finally caught the suspected drunk driver and arrested him.

No word yet on whether anyone on the roadway was injured. I-95 Northbound has reopened in Nassau County.

The driver has been transported to Shands and is facing multiple charges.
