Feedback For The Jacksonville Journey
Last December, over a hundred community leaders were assigned with finding ways to reduce the city's crime rate, to keep kids in school and improve living and working conditions throughout Jacksonville.
The committee has made their list of recommendations and it's ready to present to the public. But, they're also looking for your feedback.
"I think we'll hear a lot about how much policing we need, and how much that needs to be enhanced," says Jacksonville Journey Director Susie Wiles. "I think we'll hear a lot about children and the services that are recommended to serve children."
Tonight is the first of four meetings. It begins at 5:30pm at FCCJ North's Bryant Auditorium.
The proposals could cost the city over $35-million dollars. Wiles says your opinion is vital to making sure the city implements the right programs for the city.
