An online giant has agreed to safeguard their website. Facebook, the world's second-largest social networking site, is adding more than 40 new safeguards to protect young users from sexual predators and assorted troublemakers.
For example, Attorney General Bill McCollum says when Facebook sees someone who has already said they're 50-years-old change their age to something like 15, they'll intervene. "They're going to question that, they're going to be serious about it, and they're going to send an alert that will go out to any child that is making contact with someone that they know is an adult."
The changes also include banning convicted sex offenders from the site and the creation of a task force along with My Space that will look to make for a safer online experience.
