Diesel Fuel Thieves In Nassau

Diesel fuel is being stolen in Nassau County.  Sheriff Tommy Seagraves says two different logging companies have been hit recently with the most recent happening a week ago when one company had 550 gallons of fuel taken.

"Of course the company is suffering because that's quite a bit of fuel with today's prices."

Seagraves says the thefts have targetted logging companies in the western portion of the county.  He says as they gather evidence and look for the bandits, they will step up patrols at those locations.
