Northside Traffic Snarl

A major traffic nightmare for people on the northside during the morning rush. 

Jacksonville Police were called out to the Dames Point Bridge to talk a suicidal man off the bridge.

Both directions of 9A were closed from 8am until approximately 10:30am. 

Police were re-routing traffic off 9A both on the northbound and southbound directions of 9A.

Police negotiators were able to talk the man down safely at approximately 10:30am, he is now in custody.
