Hospital Building Nears Completion

Baptist Medical Center South holds a ceremony today to put the final piece of steel on their new patient tower at I-95 and St. Augustine Road. 

 

 

 

 

Spokesperson Erin Wallner says the 8-story tower will house 62 inpatient beds and an additional 10-bed newborn intensive care unit.  "We are topping out our brand new tower that is expected to open, at least one floor, in May of next year."  A new parking garage is also being built.
