Cop Injured in Crash

Jacksonville Police say one of their own was involved in a crash on the northside this morning.

According to our news partner Channel 4, the driver of an SUV had a medical emergency and crashed head-on into the patrol car on Alta Drive.

Both the officer and the other driver were taken to the hospital but they are expected to recover.

We don't know the name of the officer involved.
