A Draft Scenario To Consider
Let's say that Ryan is the only quarterback who has been drafted when the Jaguars pick comes up. Suddenly, Chad Henne of Michigan, Deleware's Joe Flacco, and Louisville's Brian Brohm are all available. The Falcons, coached by former Jaguars defensive coordinator Mike Smith, needs a quarterback. So the Falcons could trade up with the Jaguars (who at that point, don't highly value any of the remaining players that much).
Let's say that the Jaguars get the Falcon's second round pick, and a third round pick for the Jags first and a fifth. That roughly works out on the "Draft Pick Value Chart" that's going around the league.
Then the Jaguars could use those picks, in some combination: 2 second rounders, four third rounders and a fourth and a fifth, to trade with the Dolphins for Jason Taylor.
Would the Dolphins take a second and a third for Taylor? Maybe. They're looking for a first round pick right now.
This will be a Draft Day full of possibilities for the Jaguars.
