JEA is supposed to be NON Profit, but I would be interested in seeing their financial records, which I will now be looking into. (public record, correct?) It's outrageous when your electric bill is about 1/4 the cost of your mortgage or rent. With their price hikes, gas prices and rising cost of food, I had to move out of a 4 bedroom house into a 2 bedroom condo with 3 children and a wife. Now it seems I am going to have to move into a cracker jack box to survive. Our family conserves as much as possible. It's really hard to cut back any more. Maybe I should cut back on food and let my kids starve to death. We don't go out, we don't spend money frivolously (we don't have it to spend) and my wife and I work 40 plus hours a week to survive. I see a bad future. Next will be the rising amount of unemployment, rising welfare costs and soon, if it doesn't change, a broken country that won't be able to survive. Careful, people, look forward and tell me what you see.
