What happened to Capt Speicher is not new. For decades the true circumstances of death for Vietnam era POW/MIAs have been ignored in spite of forensic evidence. This evidence in some cases included the governments own reports.<br> <br> Speicher was not the first serviceman left behind, due to poor decision making.
