Jared Halpern - Morning Reporter
Jared Halpern is the WOKV Morning Reporter. Every morning you'll hear him reporting on the Top Local Story for Jacksonville's Morning News, even if that story isn't in Jacksonville.

Most recently, Jared told the stories of survivors of the Central Florida tornadoes on Groundhog Day, devastated homeowners forced to rebuild after the 2007 wildfires in South Georgia and North Florida and triumphant Gators following the recent University of Florida national championships.

He is also a frequent contributor to Fox News Radio and often reports for WOKV's news partner WJXT-TV channel 4.

Before joining WOKV, Jared was an anchor/reporter at WHCU in Ithaca, NY and worked in various roles at KRLD in Dallas, TX.

Jared also interned with NBC News in London.

Jared is a graduate of Ithaca College, but a native Texan who is thrilled to be back in more comfortable climates after four northeastern winters.
