The Jacksonville Armada FC announced Sunday it has parted ways with head coach Tony Meola.
Armada owner and CEO Mark Frisch said results this season have not reflected his commitment to fans to give them a team that competes for championships.
Meola was hired in November 2015.
The Armada is in 11th place on the North American Soccer League Fall Season and Combined season table.
Jacksonville has struggled to an overall record of two wins, six draws and 10 losses.
