Another Day, Another Stop
McCain fondly remembered his days as a troublemaker with a hot temper at Episcopal High. It was the sort of a reputation that he repeated while at the Academy and during his time in the Navy.
If McCain is anywhere near a military facility where he was based at some point, he will mention that in his stump speech and allude to how he helped "the local economy" during his nights on the town.
While McCain continues his Biography Tour, the Democrats are again in Pennsylvania, acting like the primary occurs next Tuesday instead of twenty days from now.
Hillary Clinton used a new piece of theme music on Tuesday, the song from the movie "Rocky." Whether she really grabs the mantle of the "Comeback Kid" from her husband, we'll see.
And she also took the time to challenge Barack Obama to a bowl-off, to see who should win the nomination. April Fool's!
Obama meanwhile continues to quietly add a few delegates here and there to his totals - the latest were a pair of delegates in Mississippi, after that state finalized the vote totals from the March 11th primary there.
Also, Obama backers declared victory in Texas, even as another round of vote counting continues in the Lone Star State for the second round of caucus conventions.
The Associated Press says Obama won 99 delegates in Texas to 94 for Hillary Clinton. Clinton won the primary, but Obama erased that and more in the conventions.
Meanwhile, Democratic National Committee chair Howard Dean says he doesn't support the idea of superdelegate "convention" of sorts in June to once and for all end this race.
I still think this race will end on its own.
Either Obama will do well enough that the superdelegates will come out for him, or Hillary will take the last series of primaries by storm and win over more delegates herself.
As Bob Schieffer likes to say, "Time will tell."
