Jaguars Shelve Podlesh
The Jaguars made a handful of pre-Thanksgiving roster moves, including placing punter Adam Podlesh on the injured reserve list. His season is done.
Podlesh sprained his knee while attempting a tackle on Sunday against the Vikings.
In place of Podlesh, the Jaguars signed Steve Weatherford, who had been with the Saints and Chiefs this year. He'll make his Jaguars debut on Monday against the Texans.
In other moves, the Jaguars activated tight end George Wrighster and defensive end Jeremy Mincey from the Physically Unable to Perform (PUP) list and waived backup defensive back Omare Lowe.
The Jaguars also waived tight end Chris Brown from the practice squad and replaced his spot with center Tim Mattran, who spent some time with Minnesota after being an undrafted rookie from Stanford.
