Jags O-Line Getting Healthier
It's official. Brad Meester will be back in the lineup this weekend and Chris Naeole might be.
That was the proclamation from Jack Del Rio on Wednesday.
Meester will be moved back in at center which gives the Jaguars some options on the offensive line. If Naeole is ready to go--Del Rio said it was possible, adding that he has shown great improvement over the past two weeks--he would play right guard. That's the position that has been the weakest this year on the line.
If Naeole isn't ready to go, the Jaguars could slide Dennis Norman into that spot. Norman has been filling in at center in Meester's absence.
Del Rio also expects Reggie Nelson to be available this week.
Wide receiver Mike Walker will not play this week, but he is out of the hospital and Del Rio said that the infection in Walker's knee is under control.
And then there is the uncomfortable moment of the day. Check out the Cole Pepper Blog for the rundown.
