Jags Bring Bouman Back
Now, I'm not going to sit here and say that I have all the answers (I'll just hint at it).
But once again, I love what the Jaguars and GM Gene Smith have done.
After watching mini-camp, there were a couple of things that were clear. The Jaguars draft picks have substantial potential, especially Derek Cox, who was the star of mini-camp.
And the Jaguars better hope that David Garrard stays on the field.
The backup quarterback play was not good.
So the Jaguars have brought back Todd Bouman.
Bouman was in camp last year and he outplayed Cleo Lemon by just about everyone's estimation. Lemon made the team, Bouman wound up backing up Joe Flacco in Baltimore.
The Jaguars need better competition behind Garrard. Now, they've taken at lease a bit of a step in that direction.
